Baker GMC Cadillac Sponsors Local QDMA Banquet
The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is a national non-profit organization with local branches focused on conserving the future of white-tailed deer, wildlife habitats, and the hunting heritage. According to QDMA’s mission statement, “Since 1988, QDMA has worked to promote sustainable, high-quality deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through research, education, advocacy, and hunter recruitment. QDMA teaches deer hunters how to improve local deer populations, habitat, and hunting experiences.” Baker GMC Cadillac was proud to sponsor the local branch’s 6th Annual REACH Banquet, a celebration that encourages Research, Education, Advocacy, Certification, and Hunting Heritage.
The event, held at Omar Shrine Temple in Mount Pleasant, drew over 500 outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy delicious catered food—from venison sliders and barbecue to quail and collard greens—a silent auction, a live auction, and plenty of games and raffles. Baker GMC Cadillac featured six GMC vehicles at the event—two Sierra 1500s, two Sierra 2500s, an Acadia, and a Yukon Denali. QDMA guests thoroughly enjoyed checking out the trucks and SUVs on display throughout the night!
