Service Porter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Ensure all arriving customers are acknowledged and professionally greeted.
  • Operate company-owned and client-owned vehicles on and off premises.
  • Escort the arriving customer that needs direction (i.e., Service, Parts, Body Shop, Cashier, etc.). Escort whenever possible.
  • Offer refreshments and seating for customers waiting for a service consultant or other dealership personnel.
  • Maintain appearance of service drives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to understand and use written, electronic, and verbal communications. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication, organization, and customer relationship skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position is performed in outside weather condition including extreme heat and cold. May be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays at direction of the general manager.
