GMC’s Canyon and Sierra Honored In Best Resale Awards
Kelley Blue Book predicts the Canyon and Sierra will retain the highest percentage of their original suggested retail price through the first five years of ownership.
Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com said, “A vehicle’s resale value is of critical importance because a vehicle with high resale value will typically be less expensive to own over time than a similar vehicle with poorer resale value.”
“This recognition affirms everything this brand stands for and provides greater assurance for our customers that they’ve made a smart choice investing in GMC,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “These vehicles are designed to deliver capability with refinement and style – a combination that is winning over more and more customers.”
This isn’t the only accolade for the Canyon this year. Earlier it won Cars.com’s Midsize Pickup Challenge for its segment-leading capabilities and efficiency. The Canyon also received kudos from Autoweek by being named the “Best of the Best Truck for 2015,” and WardsAuto recognized the Canyon as one of its 10 Best Interiors for 2015.
The Sierra is GMC’s best-selling truck. It’s rolling into 2016 with a fresh appearance and offers new, advanced engineering features designed to complement its crafted interior.
