Mercedes-Benz Reveals Luxury Pickup Truck

Once Mercedes-Benz revealed the first look of the X-Class Pickup Truck, all eyes were on the new model. This pickup truck is like no other; it’s one of the most tough, functional and strong luxury oriented vehicles. Investing approximately $1 billion in creating the X-Class, Mercedes-Benz looks to excel in producing an urban lifestyle and family vehicle for all to enjoy. “With the Mercedes-Benz pickup, we will close one of the last gaps in our portfolio. Our target: we want to offer customers vehicles matching their specific needs. The X-Class will set new standards in a growing segment,” said Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz. The all-new X-Class Pickup Truck will start selling late next year in parts of Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Australia. “While a pickup is under consideration for the US market at some point, no timeline is available for a decision to be made,” Mercedes-Benz said in a statement regarding the arrival of the vehicle in US markets.
