Mercedes-Benz is replacing the GL-Class with the GLS for the 2017 model year. What’s the difference between the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS and 2016 GlClass? We have the answer.

The Mercedes-Benz full-size SUV will get upgrades for the 2017 model year. It will not undergo a full redesign, but there will be some minor changes to the exterior and improvements to the interior that will increase the value of the SUV.

The exterior of the 2017 GLS-Class will have a redesigned front end and some revisions on the back. The front end will  have an updated grille and more chrome accents to give the vehicle a more modern look. The back end will receive LED tail lamps and a few minor changes to match the front end upgrades.

More noticeable changes will be found in the interior of the GLS. The SUV will continue to allow space for seven passengers over three rows of seats. The features we are most excited about include a new 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather and  a new color media display on the instrument panel.

The GLS will also have other options that buyers can add to their vehicle including an air ionization system to improve interior air quality and a new sport exterior to give the SUV an edgier look.

The release day on the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS is March 2016. Count on Baker Motor Company to keep you updated on its arrival on our lot.
