Baker Motor Company and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Charleston Shine at Hilton Head Island Motoring Retreat and Concours d’Elegance
As people entered the gates of the 14th Annual Hilton Head Island Motoring Retreat and Concours d’Elegance this past weekend, it was hard not to see the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Charleston display! Baker Motor Company was proud to participate in this classic car event for the first time this year showcasing Rolls-Royce vehicles along with two Maserati vehicles. Our Rolls-Royce display included the Pinnacle Travel Phantom, Wraith and Ghost, along with a Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli. Select participants got to take a scenic test drive around the island in a Rolls-Royce Phantom or Ghost with Baker Motor Company associates.
Guests enjoyed hanging out in our open, elegant lounge while enjoying the presence of the many incredible vehicle displays that surrounded them. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was joined by BMW, Jaguar, Tesla, Porsche, Ford, Chevrolet, and countless other automotive brands.
The wind and rain didn’t stop people from coming out on Saturday, and the crowds got even bigger on Sunday. On Sunday, Tommy Baker’s personal 1947 Jaguar MK IV was on display in the Concours e’Elegance and won the 2nd Place Palmetto Award in it’s class.
Dutch Mandell from Auto Week who attended the event said, “It is a gem of an event that has elevated its game; it is the rare automotive find whose success we predict is only going to rise with word of just how wonderful it is and can be.”
