Baker Motor Company shows its “wild side” at Southeastern Wildlife Festival (SEWE)

February 18th, 2015 by

The 33rd annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) took over Charleston this past weekend, February 13-15, 2015. The three-day celebration brought together over 40,000 wildlife enthusiasts to enjoy fine art, conservation education, sporting demonstrations, delicious Lowcountry cuisine & cocktails and so much more.

This year, Baker Motor Company was the official automotive sponsor and we had multiple cars on display from both Savannah Highway dealerships: Baker Motor Company of Charleston and Baker Buick GMC Cadillac. At the historic Charleston Place Hotel, we showed off our luxury lines including a Rolls-Royce Wraith, Maserati Ghibli, Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.  Down at Brittlebank Park, where event attendees cheered on the very popular Dock Dogs competition, we displayed a Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque and a GMC Sierra towing a sleek new Scout motorboat. Right at the entrance of the park we displayed two GMC Sierra 1500’s: one All-Terrain and a fully-loaded Diesel, which was a real crowd pleaser! In the heart of Marion Square we showed off a bright red GMC Sierra 1500.

It was a “wild” time and we are already looking forward to next year. Mark your calendars for SEWE 2016, February 12-14!
