Cadillac CTS Nominated for North American Car of the Year Award

The Cadillac CTS has been named one of three vehicles nominated for the North American Car of the Year Award. The winner will be announced on Jan. 13, 2014 before the opening of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

A jury of 48 automotive journalists selected the car finalists from among 28 foreign and domestic contenders. The CTS is competing against the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the Mazda3 this year for the prestigious award.

To be eligible for the NACTOY awards, vehicles must be “all new” or “substantially changed.” Factors such as innovation, handling, safety, design, driver satisfaction and value for the dollar are recognized in those vehicles that receive the award.
