January 8th, 2013 by

winter-test-facility-300x150Jaguar Land Rover has officially opened its new winter test facility in International Falls, Minnesota. This facility includes cold testing chambers, snow covered test surfaces, a frozen lake, and a concrete test rack.

International Falls is known as one of the coldest locations in the Continental United States, with temperatures as low as -55 F (-48 C). This extreme weather testing will further allow Land Rover engineers to meet the harshest environmental conditions the vehicles will face, no matter where they are driven.

Land Rovers have been tested for extreme heat as well, which we know impacts us in the summer! Want to get a closer look at Land Rover West Ashley’s current inventory? Then click here to get started!
