Maserati Obtains Conquest Crown in 2014 – Automotive News

In 2014 Maserati was hands down the best at convincing consumers to switch brands according to the IHS Automotive Loyalty Awards.  The company was awarded the Conquest Crown due to having the highest conquest level as a percent of registrations.  With an almost nonexistent presence in the U.S. market in 2013 the company implemented an aggressive expansion plan for 2014 led by Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Maserati’s parent company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.  As a result, Maserati saw sales triple to 12,943 vehicles in 2014, a large improvement from only 4,768 vehicles in 2013.  The company also took home the Overall Award for Most Improved Loyalty to a Make, rising 10.9 percentage points to 40.1 in 2014, from 29.2 percent in 2013.
