New Technology Meets Classic Cars – Porsche

Porsche Radio-NavigationssystemPorsche has developed a new navigation radio in response to the increasing demand for a built-in device.  The navigation radio combines the flair of days gone by with the benefits of today’s technology.

The navigation radio fits perfectly into the DIN-1 slot that has been included in the sports car for years and is controlled by two knobs, six discrete buttons and a touch sensitive 3.5 inch display monitor.  Designed in two authentic styles, the radio harmoniously fits in the dashboard of classic Porsche models.

With Porsche branding it is appropriate for all sports car generations, from the 1960’s 911 to the 1990’s 911 series.  The radio comes with key features such as; low interference radio reception, precise navigation, and a variety of external music sources that can be controlled from the display.  Bluetooth is an additional option that is available with a built-in and external microphone.
