Spotlight On Sprinter Stories: Bicycle Haus

Bicycle Haus, owned by Kale and Shasta Keltz, is a high-end bicycle retailer and repair shop located in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Bicycle Haus invested in a Mercedes Sprinter Van to use as their second store location, creating a mobile shop for their customers!  The company’s decision to purchase a Sprinter Van was heavily swayed by the efficient Blue Tech engine and amount of cargo space that the van offered, plus the ability for customization.

By having a mobile location this allows the brand to go to where the customers are, such as, competitive races, parks and high trafficked bicycle paths in the area.  Allowing their customers to say good-bye to the hassle of loading bikes in the car, hauling them to the shop and picking it up days later.  Instead, the mobile shop now comes to the customer and is able to follow race traffic to prevent or fix any demand on the spot.  Driving business by their service and accessibility! 

The cargo space was extremely easy to customize with Mercedes-Benz and allowed them to include enough room for a small repair shop, mobile kitchen and espresso bar – while still receiving great fuel economy.  The mobile shop is a huge crowd pleaser, especially the mobile kitchen on race days! As their mechanic says, Bicycle Haus and Mercedes-Benz are two high-end brands that “make a perfect pair.”
