In the last quarter of 2017, Porsche released the 718 Boxster GTS, and after having some time to test out the model, we’re impressed with the car’s unparalleled speed and muscular aesthetic. The GTS model features a new intake plenum and an optimized turbocharger, giving it 15 horsepower more than the 718 Boxster S model. Porsche explains, “The maximum torque of up to 317 lb-ft (309 lb-ft on manual transmission models) is available across a broad power band from 1,900 to 5,000 rpm (1,900 to 5,500 rpm on manual transmission models) and further improves acceleration. When equipped with the optional PDK transmission the GTS model is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The top track speed is 180 mph.”

The design of the 718 Boxster GTS is sharper than previous iterations. It features a Sport Design front fascia, tinted front indicator lights and taillights, black accents, and a centrally mounted standard Sport Exhaust System. It’s an all-around stunning and fast option for Porsche Boxster enthusiasts.
